Three "best of the best" for a high performing (and happy) 2018

Yes, it’s a cliché, but time really does fly… it’s hard to believe we’re already heading into Thanksgiving! As painful as this year has been in certain ways (read: politically), it’s also been a fantastic, head-down, full-steam- ahead year: getting deeply engaged with new clients, evolving my coaching and training experiences with groups and teams, and getting uber-focused on the deep, foundational concepts and practices that power great performance.

In the spirit of sharing the most thought-provoking ideas and content possible, here’s just a taste of the best of the best I’ve been thinking about, working with clients on and getting mad inspiration from this year. Much more on these to come!

1. Emotional Intelligence. In this seminal piece, Goleman breaks down EI’s key elements, starting with self- awareness as the foundation.  No great leader leads without it.

2. Search Inside Yourself. A wonderful, thoughtful read by Google’s growth pioneer on how to practice mindfulness techniques- always coming from a place of positivity (how can you argue with that?)

3. Finding Mastery. This podcast is a gem. Michael Gervais hosts long form interviews with leaders “on the path to finding mastery”. High performance psychology at work. Great stuff.

Stay tuned for more rich content to help you do the good work you do better.
